HA TOKYO was founded on a simple observation: the objects that pass through a guest's hands say as much about a place as the room itself. The straw — used once, rarely considered — seemed a good place to begin.

Our straws are manufactured in Taiwan with partners who have spent years refining plant-fibre forming. The material begins as tea left behind after brewing, dried and rebuilt into a tube that holds firm through a long drink.

We work quietly and at a considered pace, with a preference for materials that age honestly and details you notice only on the second look.
